Need Wiring Diagrams? – Find them in VACC MotorTech

Without access to the correct wiring diagrams, diagnosing and repairing the electrical systems in a modern vehicle can be time-consuming and soul-destroying. VACC MotorTech has wiring diagrams from five sources covering a wide range of cars and circuits, saving you time and headaches.

Once you have logged into VACC MotorTech and selected your vehicle via our rego look-up, you will be presented with different columns of information to choose from called TechOnline, TechTalk and Haynes Pro. Each has wiring diagrams once you know where to look.

TechOnline Wiring

The first is TechOnline, which is information developed by VACC that could cover Automatic Transmissions, Electronic Brake Control, SRS Airbags, and Engine Management. TechOnline provides wiring diagrams at the bottom of each page in the “Diagrams” section.

TechTalk Wiring

The next column contains TechTalk articles written on common issues with this vehicle. Some of these articles include wiring diagrams for 4WD systems, lighting, power lift gates, and other miscellaneous circuits.

HaynesPro Wiring

The third column shows the result from HaynesPro. Once you click these links, you will need to select your vehicle’s engine, which will take you to the overview page for that variant. If you have a “Diagnostics” subscription to VACC MotorTech, you will see that the options in the left column for “Electronics” and “SmartPACK” will be available.

Selecting “Electronics” presents you with options to choose the vehicle system for which you need a wiring diagram.

Once you have made a choice, click the green “Continue to Electronic Systems” button in the top-right corner. You will then be able to select the individual circuit you would like, and the system will provide guided diagnostic steps for that circuit.

Alternatively, the overview page includes a diagnostic code search feature. If you enter your codes, it will take you to the guided diagnostic steps and wiring for the circuits, which could be the cause of the fault.

Haynes AllAccess Wiring

Haynes AllAccess is the electronic version of the famous Haynes Manuals, and most of these now include wiring diagrams from Rellim, a trusted source of wiring information for many years. By clicking on the Haynes AllAccess logo in the top right of the VACC MotorTech page, it will open in a new browser tab.

Once you have searched for your vehicle and opened the online manual, the link to the available wiring diagrams will appear at the bottom of the left-hand column.

You can then click on the link to the diagram you need and it will display as shown below.
